Creating a ChatGPT account is a free, quick process that lets you start using AI immediately. You only need an email address and a phone number to verify you are a real person. Once you sign up, you can access your account from any computer or smartphone without downloading complex software.

Step 1: Visit the Website To get started, you need to go to the official website. You don't need to buy anything.

Open your web browser (like Chrome, Safari, or Edge) and type chat.openai.com into the address bar at the very top. Press Enter. You will see a welcome screen with options to "Log in" or "Sign up." Click on the button that says Sign up.
